Something to say
God's people were really sad. they had blown the rules God had given them and had been living life how they wanted. even though they had messed up, God had still done amazing things for them over and over again because he loved them. God had one more amazing thing he was going to do...send Jesus. Even when we mess up God still loves us and still does amazing things for us.
Something to show
Have a bag of props and bring out items that show good things that God has done for us (house, food, friends, jobs etc). Remind the children that God has done amazing things for us!
Something to pray
Thank God that he doesn't get fed up of us when we mess up. Thank him that he loves us and that he will always do amazing things for us.
A verse to remember
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. His faithful loves endures forever. Psalm 135:1
